Friar Lawrence is telling the prince that the death of Romeo and Juliet is his fault because of all the events that led up to their deaths. First event was the first marriage with Romeo and Juliet. Second event was the second marriage with Paris and Juliet. The third event was when Friar Lawrence tried a plan that would make it so Juliet did not have to get married to Paris and her and Romeo could be together.
