Storyboard Text

  • is the point on a wave with the minimum or lowest point in a wave
  • A Trough is the lowest part of a wave that is opposite to the crest of the wave
  • Trough
  • Disturbance that travels through a medium from end to end
  • A Equilibrium to me is the undisturbed point or reaction position on a wave where nothing really occurs
  • Equilibrium
  • The distance between crest to another crest
  • Wave length is basically how long the way is between a trough to another trough
  • Wave length
  • The distance from the still position to the crest or trough
  • A amplitude is the particles between the resting position and the crest or the resting position to the trough
  • Amplitude
  • Energy causes the matter in the medium to move up and down or back and forth at right angles to the direction the wave travels
  • A transverse wave is basically a normal wave that contains 5 important parts that make the way move or do anything at that
  • Transverse Wave
  • medium moves forward and backwards along the same direction that the wave travels
  • In my perspective a compressional wave is a wave that moves consenstantly back and forth in the same direction
  • Compressional Wave
