  • Romeo & Juliet Act lll
  • Scene 1
  • This shall determine that!
  • Thou wretched boy that didst consort him here shalt with him hence.
  • Scene 2
  • Ah weraday, he's dead, he's dead, he's dead! We are undone, lady, we are undone. Alack the day, he's gone, he's killed, he's dead.
  • Scene 3
  • Spakest thou of Juliet? How is it with her? Doth she think me an old murderer?
  • O, she says nothing, sir, but weeps and weeps...
  • Since Romeo crashed the Capulet's party, Tybalt challenges Romeo to a fight in the public square. Romeo tries to keep the peace until Tybalt stabs Mercutio. Full of anger, Romeo then starts to fight Tybalt and eventually kills him.
  • Scene 4
  • Therefore we'll have some half a dozen friends, and there an end. But what say you to Thursday?
  • My lord, I would that Thursday were tomorrow.
  • The Nurse enters Juliet's room and she brings the bad news of Tybalt's death. Juliet finds that Romeo killed Tybalt and realizes that Romeo must be banished from Verona.
  • Scene 5
  • Farewell, farewell. One kiss and I'l descend.
  • The Nurse goes to Friar Lawrence's cell to find Romeo. Romeo is concerned about Juliet and wants to comfort her. The Friar explains to Romeo how lucky he is to be banished instead of killed.
  • Capulet speaks with Paris about marrying Juliet when little does he know, Juliet is already married to Romeo. Paris eagerly agrees to marry Juliet on Thursday.
  • Romeo visits Juliet on her balcony and says farewell because he is going to be exiled in the morning. Juliet then starts to have thoughts of suicide if she is forced to marry Paris.
