The story of Romeo and Juliet
A simple day it was for Romeo, he was out for a stroll on the town.
He lived a simple town, though not known to others, he loved his town of Fakeville.
Romeo, the man who was loved by many women but whose heart was taken by another who does not feel the same.
Rosaline, the most popular girl at school is said to already have a boyfriend who’s is in college already, giving no other boy the time of day.
Though Rosaline’s younger sister Juliet has feelings for Romeo and she wants to “help” Romeo achieve his long sought love’s affection. But the catch is, his family and their own are of the long line of baking with their parents hating the others pastries. Trance’s baking goods and the lance’s Family bread.
Romeo has doubts about continuing the relationship but still has slight hope in which it will work.
The two love struck couples end up going out in secret but after they made bread together, mixing both family secret ingredients into one bread loaf, Romeo States “thus my lips, by thine my sin is purged”(Pg 203. Line 105) continuing to kiss her with Juliet replying “Then my lips the sin that they have took.”(pg 203. Line 106) Romeo then asks her to marry him.
The two want to approach their family for the wedding but are afraid. All and all they end up marrying in secret. With the help of his Pastor with the words of himself being “these violent delights have violent ends and in their triumph die, like fire and powder, which, as they kiss, consume.”(pg226. Line 10-11)
Tybalt, the best friend of Paris and also the older brother of Juliet, finds out about this relationship. He thinks of how Juliet could just break up with Paris and go out with another guy he isn’t even aware of. His dear friend Paris is still not over his lost love and continues to complain “Sweet flower, with flowers thy bridal bed I stew. O woe! Thy canopy is dust and stones!” (270. Line 12-13)
Tybalt confronts with Paris Romeo with his friend and starts a huge Brawl between both their groups stating “Now, by the honor of my kin, To strike him dead I hold it not a sin”(201. 56-57) after Romeo strikes Tybalt down Paris is enraged “I will apprehend him. Stop thy unhallowed toil, vile Trance! (Montague)”(271. 53-54). Later they are all arrested with evidence of who starting the fight leading all to Tybalt. Tybalt gets life in prison because of a major injury to Mercutio, the Son of the officer who arrested him.
Romeo and Juliet both know that there is no more turning back and think about their life together. They confront the already curious family and tell them what has been happening. The families enraged with one another couldn’t handle this information properly and in an enraged fit Juliet’s father pushes his daughter down. Juliet is now in the hospital in a coma, she hit her head on a table, Romeo lies there every day not caring what his family or her’s had to say. Years later, Romeo still comes everyday working a hard job with long hours. Still making time for her even during the night, But news had finally come for her condition. She would never wake up again, But Romeo can make a choice. He can pull the plug on her so she can finally rest, or selfishly keep her alive for his own gain. With a heavy heart, he chooses to let her live on in his heart, rather than in a bed in the hospital. Leaving the hospital and even getting Tybalt out of prison, Romeo had wanted to show Juliet all he did to fix everything before she died but he ended up just living the life of a regular man with a past he no longer likes to linger on.
