Storyboard Text

  • America is still a very young nation and that gives me hope! We don't know where this nation is headed, it could crash and burn or maybe prosper. Despite not knowing, I believe we can change this nation into something equal and fair for everyone!
  • The Father's of this nation were great men. They were willing to sacrifice everything for this country in hopes of happiness for the people of America. They always stayed humble, yet never stopped fighting and were fearless. The Father's of this nation wouldn't want all of this slavery and opression that has corrupted America today, but instead they would want everyone to be equal and free. Although it may be hard, I know we can still fight for their wishes today!
  • While whites are privileged and living a good life, we aren't. We are constantly being treated unfairly and being punished for no reason. While you prosper, we suffer. If today, you are here to mock me by allowing me to speak, just know that it will eventually backfire on you.
  • Right now, America is in hideous shape! American slavery has corrupted this country and has made many people suffer. We slaves fear for our lives almost every single minute of every single day. I am taking a stand against slavery because I know how wrong it is and you should too!
  • Some argue that we slaves have failed to make a good impression on the community. What must I do to prove that slaves are humans too?! It is ridiculous that we aren't acknowledged as human beings. There are 72 laws that for slaves, are punishable by death. However, only two of the same laws for a white men have the same punishment. This is completely unfair because I truly believe that slaves are also humans!
  • Finally, I would like to answer the question, what are you really celebrating on the 4th of July? You are celebrating the savagery of this country and how unmoral it is. You are celebrating your own cruelty and injustice that you give to slaves. This nation is more guilty and cruel then any other nation at this point in time and I hope that will eventually change...
