Greg and Rowleys friendship is toxic. Its toxic because Greg always makes Rowley carry his heavy bag when they walk home for example on pg 12 "I have to take almost every book home. My body isn't built to carry that kind of weight, but luckley rowley is like a pack animal so its no problem for him". in this part of the story greg uses rowey as a slave. A good friend wouldn't treat their friend like a slave.
Greg and Rowleys friendship is toxic. Its toxic because Greg makes Rowley walk in front of him incase there is any dog poop for example on pg 11-12 "Rebel figured out that as long as his collar doesn't cross the property line, he wont get shocked. And if I didn't have Rowley watching out for me I definitely would have stepped in one of rebels land mines". in this part of th story greg tells us about how there is a dog that makes the step in his poop so he makes Rowley walk in front. A good friend wouldn't do that.
Greg and Rowleys friendship is toxic. its toxic because when Rowley started to walk to school with Abigail greg got mad because now he has to carry his own bag for example on pg 9 " me and Rowley used to head into school together every morning, but now Rowley goes over to abigails neiborhood and walks to school with HER. in the story greg says that ever since Rowley started going out with Abigail they stared walking together. A good friend wouldn't be mad.

Its toxic because Rowley and Abigail won cutest couple in th yearbook and when they went to take their picture taken greg felt sick for example on pg 196 "i was already in a bad mood when the last two people walked in the room to have their picture tasken. it looked down at the printout and scanned all the way to the bottom and I felt sick". in the story it talks about how greg isn't happy for them when they won. A good friend would be happy for Rowley and Abigail.
