  • My Experience
  • My experience taking the survey was fun. Even though I knew what the outcome was going to be. Anytime I take a survey like this the end result is always social. I love talking to people and helping with personal situations if they need it. I have very great communication skills and I am very persuasive. I love dealing with hands on situations where there is a lot of talking and communication.
  • RIASEC is a representation of personality types described in a theory of occupations formulated by psychologist John L. Holland. Career counselors and career seekers use these types to focus career exploration and research
  • My Experience
  • My 3 personality traits were: Social, Investigative, and Enterprising (SIE). My dominant trait was Social and my two recessive traits were Investigative and Enterprising. I wasn't surprised my dominant trait was Social it has always been a big part of my personality. I love to talk to people and make conversation. People have always confided in me whenever they have a problem or there dealing because I am a very good listener and I am very trustworthy.
  • RIASEC Definitions
  • Job
  • The job I have chosen out of my dominant trait, which was Social, was a Counseling Psychologist. A Counseling Psychologist is a specialty within professional psychology that maintains a focus on facilitating personal and interpersonal functioning across the life span. The specialty pays particular attention to emotional, social, vocational, educational, health-related, developmental, and organizational concerns.
  • My experience with the Stem Career Inventory survey.
  • My chosen career
  • Depending on how much experience I have in this chosen career depends on how much money I will be able to make. With as much experience as possible I would be able to make 72,543 a year with $33.99 an hour. Some psychologists work independently, conducting research, consulting with clients, or working with patients, Others work as a part of a health care team, collaborating with physicians and social workers or in school settings, working with students, teachers, parents, and other educators. Those in private practice often work evenings and weekends to accommodate clients.
  • My 3 traits were Social, Investigative, and Enterprising. Social was my dominant trait and Investigative and Enterprising were my recessive traits.
  • I chose a Counseling Psychologist as my job in the Social area.
  • I would make $33.99 an hour. I would also make $72,543 a year as my salary.
