  • Cristopher Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492
  • I hope the new land is close by.
  • On his voyage he brought some animals in hope to find the new land to let them off on
  • Some animals he brought were horses, cows, and pigs
  • As he finally reached the new land he met new people and from those people he got diseases which traveld with him as he went back to the old land.
  • Come, Come, we have a visiter.
  • What can i get in exchange for my animals ?
  • Diseases were brought to the old world as well as the new foods and animals.
  • Diseases like small pox, and measles caused many people to die and because the food was no good and couldn't grow.
  • Columbus is the reason we have contact with other countries and have a lot of things we do today that are from other countries
  • The Colombian Exchange is an important part of history because culture spread, we met new people, and a lot of people died from diseases.
  • The Colombian Exchange shaped our economy and aspects of life by bringing food, animals, and diseases back and fourth from the New Land to the Old Land.
  • Things like this still happen in our day like when we trade our goods for goods in return from other countries like China.
