  • Factories in the North produced the Unions equipment and supplies, which was sent on trains and delivered to the men at war
  • Hi! My name is Thomas Wright and I am a part of the Union arm. We were given our brand new, never worn, uniforms today and I can't wait to fight. 
  • Equipment was a matter of survival in the war which put the North at such an advantage because the North had factories while the South did not. 
  • Hi! My name is Samuel Reed and I am a part of the Confederate Army. I am wearing clothes from my great grandfather and my socks have holes in a the toes. Fighting will be interesting.
  • The North was also put at an advantage because they were able to make more weapons which helped in battles, along with having better weapons to fight with compared to the South.
  • Um lets get out of here!

  • Sure, equipment doesn't sound like much when you hear it, but it was hands down one of the longest lasting impacts throughout the war that put the North on such a pedestal above the South. 
  • The supplies given to the North helped our nation because it have the North an upper hand in the war which shaped our country into what it is today. 
  • When the North would flee from a battle, they would leave supplies and weapons on the battlefield which allowed an oppertunity for the South to take weaponsand fight back with them.
