I keep hearing people talk about something called a "Cell Theory". I wish i knew what that was
I can help you!! Cell theory is a widely excepted explination of the relationship between cells and living things.
Well Robert Hooke identified cells in 1665. Robert Brown discovered the nucleus of a cell in 1828. Matthias Schleiden discovered that all plants are made off cells. Theodore Schwann discovered that all animals are made of cells in 1839. Rudolph Virchow stated that cells come from other cells in 1858.
There are three parts to this "cell theory". The first part is that cells are the basic unit of structure and function
The second part is that all organisms are made of cells. The last part is that cells come from preexisting cells.
Thanks so much!! Where did all of this come from though?
Thank you so much!!
