Storyboard Text

  • Martin Luther was unhappy with the church's system of forgiveness, so he led a series of "attacks" on the Catholic Church.
  • This led to a complaint by the authorities who persecuted him, but he escaped just before being arrested.

  • Keep running... Keep running...
  • Martin then escaped into an old castle and took refuge there. He copied the New Testament into German and started a movement against the Catholic Church called Lutheranism.
  • Martin Luther inspired others to create new branches against Catholicism, like...
  • John Calvin, who created a movement called Calvinism, which is known today as Presbyterianism.
  • Calvinism!
  • And John Wesley, who created a branch known today as Methodism.
  • Hahahahahahahaha hahahahahahaha!
  • I don't like Pope because he uses Scope, a mouth soap, and his hope ain't so dope! I can't even cope, but don't worry; it's a trope.
  •
  • !!!!!
  • King Henry VIII heard of this revolt and was angered by it, but  didn't do much to stop it at first.
