Oh okay. Thank you.
An aftershock is an earthquake which is a result of the initial earthquake.
Continuing on, there weren't many towns on Rat Islands, so the most damage was that buildings got flooded and buildings cracked. There were no casualties because there were no people there during that time. The destruction of the earthquake was really bad, costing a million dollars to repair the damage. Fortunately, no one died.
Did you know that there were about 203 earthquakes on Rat Islands in the past year? The risk of living near this earthquake’s epicenter is high, because a lot of earthquakes occur at Rat Islands, and even though they are minor earthquakes, they occur very often.
Thank you for teaching us this!!!
Yeah, it was REALLY interesting
