  • Run, Percy, run!!!!!

  • What are you talking about?!
  • Conflict
  • You too, percy.
  • Nice to meet you, Annebelle.
  • Percy Jackson, a kid who always gets in trouble, learns that his father is Poseidon, Greek god of the seas, and he is a demi-god. His mom and Grover take Percy to Camp Half-Blood to seek refuge from other monsters that are after Percy. The monsters think that he stole Zeus's lightning bolt.
  • Rising Action #1
  • You shall go on a quest to retrieve your mother from the underworld.
  • Yes, Chiron.
  • At Camp Half-Blood, Percy meets many other half-bloods, born of the Olympian gods. Percy trains at Camp Half-Blood. He learns that someone has stolen Zeus' lightning bolt, and since Percy is the son of Poseidon, he is blamed for it!

  • I don't have it, I don't even have my helm of darkness. Your mother is safe and sound here.
  • Percy begins a quest, along with Annabeth, daughter of Athena, and his satyr friend Grover to recover the stolen lightning bolt to prevent war among the gods. Percy only has a few days of training, but he has to save the world.
  • The three of them have completed two parts of their quest and only one part remains, they must go to the underworld in Los Angeles to retrieve Percy's mother and bring her home.
  • The trio travel around the USA and battle many monsters. They reach the underworld in Los Angeles and confront Hades about the lightning bolt. Hades doesn't have it and accuses Percy of stealing his helm of darkness! Grover also gives up his life to Hades in exchange for Percy's mother.
