The Renaissance was a rebirth of interest in Greek and Roman arts.
Galileo believed conducting experiments was the correct way to achieve scientific knowledge . So he dropped a bigger a smaller ball to see if the bigger ball would hit the ground first but it didn't. They both hit the ground at the same time.
Johannes Gutenberg created the printing press which helped spread books and papers. They used to have to write the book by hand which would take forever. The printing press helped spread the reformation too. This was an advanced discovery.
Martin Luther was mad at the corrupted churches and wrote the 95 theses about the indulgences. This was spread with the printing press and started Lutheranism.
There was conflict between Protestants and Catholics which started the 30 year war which the puritans won.
The impact the renissance was many discoveries like the teloscope and the printing press. Also the reformation like Calvinism let people know back then that they should elect government officials. This also let the pilgrims to move to America to practice religion freely.
