A pathogen enters the host
Through the nose. Nose hairs and mucus attempt to capture it, but they fail! DUN DUN DUNAAAAAAAAAA
The pathogen travels down the esophagus causing inflammation. T - cells scramble to create antibodies as they get alerted by B - cells. The skin becomes heated and the host realizes they are sick.
Sir, you are ill. The non-specific defense, I mean inflammation, can be calmed by antibiotics. Your phagocytes, a specific defense, are engulfing the pathogen inside of you.
Luckily, we have medicine that can kill off the pathogen. You should be feeling healthy again within the next week.
