Gatsby felt, "that he had lost the old warm world" when George shot him by the pool (Fitzgerald 161)
Fitzgerald states, "sitting somewhat drunk on the edge of a great table, staring with unsteady concentration at the shelves of books" showing the first interaction that Jordan and Nick had with Owl eyes (Fitzgerald 45).
Gatsby introduces nick to, "a small, flat-nosed Jew" who is also known as Wolfsheim (Fitzgerald 69).
