Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • I want to go back to Earth.
  • Conflict
  • You're such a liar!
  • No I'm not!
  • Rising Action
  • In Margot's class, many of her classmates believe she is different. They don't believe that she knows about the sun and how great it is. She misses the sun and is very sad about her move to Venus because of the continuous rain.
  • Climax
  • The conflict in this story is between the students of the classroom and a girl named Margot. She has experienced something no one else has but nobody believes her.
  • Falling Action
  • Margot and her classmates talk about the sun and what they believe it's going to be like. Most people in her class have not experienced the sun like Margot since she has lived on Earth. Everyone else doesn't know a thing about it since it has been seven years.
  • Resolution
  • Just before the sun comes out, the classmates lock Margot in a closet. Suddenly the sun comes out and everyone goes outside, forgetting about Margot.
  • As the whole class is playing outside, Margot is trapped inside the closet crying and screaming for help. She knows that her chance of seeing the sun is gone thanks to her classmates.
  • As the students come back inside from playing in the sun, one person remembers not letting Margot out of the closet. Everyone then rushes to the closet and opens the door to find the sad little girl.
