Myanmar is a Buddhist country in Asia with the population of 58 million people.
The Rohingya are an ethnic minority group in Myanmar. Unlike others, the Rohingya are Muslim with the population about 1 million in the beginning of 2017. They have been persecuted by Myanmar governments.
The Rohingya have been denied by Myanmar as citizens since 1982. They are not lawful citizens and they are living illegally in Myanmar because they are Muslim.
Myanmar government been trying to get rid of The Rohingya for so long. In the summer of 2017, Myanmar government been doing an "ethnic cleansing".
A democracy leader, Ayan San Suu Kyi, didn't do/say anything about this.
The Rohingya couldn't do anything but cross theborders to other countries to save their lives.
