  • Mae (Te-May) Ransonet was born in August 24, 1915.
  • Te-May single-handedly put together the museum, gathering all the artifacts she could find. She hired workers to build the buildings themselves. (September 1962)
  • Heritage Village Museum
  • GRAND OPENING- TWO WEEKS
  • Many people came to the museum often. Sometimes people from other countries might visit to see Mae's creation.
  • Tmae was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1970 that caused her to be bed-ridden for more than 10 years.
  • The museum was closed on Labor Day of 1990. It was open for 28 years.
