Mae (Te-May) Ransonet was born in August 24, 1915.
Te-May single-handedly put together the museum, gathering all the artifacts she could find. She hired workers to build the buildings themselves. (September 1962)
Heritage Village Museum
GRAND OPENING- TWO WEEKS
Many people came to the museum often. Sometimes people from other countries might visit to see Mae's creation.
Tmae was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 1970 that caused her to be bed-ridden for more than 10 years.
The museum was closed on Labor Day of 1990. It was open for 28 years.
