Exposition - we learn background about the story, like the setting and characters. Then there is an inciting incident, that brings the main characters out of balance.
In the story: Theseus and the Minatour, they are all in Athens Greese. The main characters are: Theseus, the Minatour, and Minous. The Minotour is Minous's.
Conflict: something gets in the way of the protagonist.
Fourteen youths went into the maze with the Minotour and got hurt. Then Theseus wanted to go through the maze, so he tied a piece of yarn to the door and started going through.
Rising Action / Complications: We learn more details about the story, including obstacles for the protagonist.
Theseus wanted to go through because a lady wanted to see if it was possible to get out of the maze. She had no idea Theseus wanted to kill the Minotour.
Climax: This is the high point of the action, or the crisis point.
Theseus was going through the maze and found the Minotour asleep at his feet. Theseus dropped the yarn and beat the Minotour to death with his fist.
Falling Action: Now the climax has finished, the story line wraps up.
There are two different endings. No one knows which one is true.
Resolution or Revelation: The story comes to an end and the plotlines are completed.
At the end of both endings Theseus made it back and was then the king of Athens.
