This storyboard does not have a description.
"His eyes tilt more. Would you believe it? HaHa is smiling!" (paragraph 13)
When Buddy and Miss Sook made the unsmiling laugh.
"They call him HaHa because he's so gloomy, a man who never laughs." ~ Buddy (paragraph 12)
That Miss Sook and Buddy make fruit cakes every year.
It’s always the same: a morning arrives in November, and my friend, as though officially inaugurating the Christmas time of year that exhilarates her imagination and fuels the blaze of her heart, announces: “It’s fruitcake weather! Fetch our buggy. Help me find my hat.”
"Buddy dear, yesterday Jim Macy's horse kicked Queenie bad. Be thankful she didn't feel much. i wrapped her in a Fine Linen sheet and rode her in the buggy down to Simpson's pasture where she can be with all her bones..."
", I keep searching the sky. As if i expected to see ,rather like hearts, a lost pair of kites hurrying toward the heavans"
Mr.HaHa Jones was a tall indian man with scars all over his face who hardly ever smiled. When Buddy and Miss Sook went to his 'cafe' to get the whiskey, they made Mr.Jones laugh once and smile twice.
In Miss Sooks old age i'm surprised that she still makes around 30-32 fruit cakes each year.
Miss Sook and Queenie died what appeared to be painless deaths.
