Act Two Scene One: Othello arrives, he speaks of his joy to see Desdemona. He claims the war is done.
Act Two Scene One: Iago claims Desdemona is in love with Othello, but that she will tire, and that Cassio can be used to draw her away. Roderigo leaves and Iago speaks of his plan.
Act Two Scene Three: Othello and Cassio discuss the guard. Cassio says Iago is in charge and Othello says he is honest. Iago arrives as Othello leaves. They discuss Desdemona. Iago convinces Cassio to drink after he discovers it is his weakness.
Act Two Scene Three: Cassio becomes drunk and Roderigo deliberately antagonizes him. Cassio strikes Roderigo. When Montano tries to intervene, Cassio fights him too.
Act Two Scene Three: Othello arrives and asks Iago to explain what happened. Cassio is sacked and Desdemona arrives so Othello leaves with her.
Act Two Scene Three: Cassio is distraught and cannot believe what he has done. Iago convinces him to try and ask Desdemona to intervene on his behalf. Then Iago speak to the audience of his plans.
