Ralph Bunche was born on the 7th of August in 1904, in Detroit, MI,USA. While he was alive he Was the Director of the division of Trusteeship. We then became a Professor at Harvard University Cambridge, MA. Unfortunately he died on the 9th of December 1971 in New York, NY, at the age of 67.
Ralph Bunche was an American political Scientist, academic, and diplomat, and also received the 1950 Nobel Peace Prize for his mediation in Israel. He was the first African American to earn the Peace Prize.
Ralph Bunche was the first colored man to be awarded the Peace Prize. He earned this because he arrange a cease-fire between Israelis and Arabs during the war. The war was between Israel, four Arab neighbors, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria.
