  • Animals such as Harambe, breathe out Carbon Dioxide (CO2) into the air and the plants absorb the carbon dioxide. 
  • Decomposers
  • The plants use the CO2 that animals (similar to Harambe) breathe out for photosynthesis.
  • THE CARBON CYCLE
  • Over the past hundreds of millions of years, animals have died and been turned into fossil fuels over time. These fuels add Carbon to the air and help to restart the cycle.
  • When organisms die, they are eaten by decomposers and the carbon in their bodies goes back into the atmosphere as C02.
