Emmett Till was a young boy born in Chicago.
He was a teenager when he went to visit relatives in Money Mississippi. His mother, Mamie was hesitant however, she ended up letting him go.
Do not look. Remember what mom said!
While Emmett was in Money, he had to be careful to not look at the whites especially the white woman.
There are many stories of what happened that day. Some say Emmett whistled at the white woman, some say Emmett may have looked at the lady, and other say he muttered the words, ¨Bye Baby¨
We wanna speak to Emmett. He was said to be having an interaction with a white woman. All we want to do is talk with him.
It was said that when the two men talked to Uncle Moses on the porch, there was an African American with the men standing on the porch. He may have been forced to do this crime because he would maybe not have been questioned if the African American man was with them.
It was said that the African American male that may have assisted in the crime's name was Henry Lee Logins. It was said that man tied the cotton gin to Till's neck and then threw Till in the lake.
