  • Rising Action
  • In a time long ago there lived a semi-barbaric king whose ideas served only for himself and his entertainment.
  • Climax
  • ?
  • ?
  • One day, the royal maiden, his daughter, fell in love with a man who's class didn't stand as high as the princess.
  • Falling Action
  • Their affair had stayed a secret for several months until the king had discovered its existence and did not hesitate to punish the young man. The young man was sent to prison and casted into the arena where his cruel fate was to be decided.
  • Resolution
  • Behind one door was a hungry vicious tiger waiting to tear him to pieces for his guilt and behind the other door was a fair maiden who he would immediately marry for his innocence.
  • The young man glanced over at the king's daughter who only she and the king knew what possessed behind the doors. It was her choice whether she'd like him to be the tiger's dinner or married with another woman she envied. And so with this, she rose her right arm.
  • Without hesitation, the young man trusted her answer and opened the door on the right. The story was discontinued at this point where the author allowed the reader to decide the fate of the boy.
