  • William Harvey
  • You Stink!
  • Isaac Newton
  • I wounder why such thing as an apple falls down instead of up?
  • Francis Bacon
  • This essay is going to be great!
  • William Harvey was a misunderstood genius. Galen had stated that there was two types of blood in the human body and that is when William Harvey steps in and states that there is only one type of blood in the human body; and Harvey was right, but every one was on Galen's side. Then Galen stated that blood goes from the liver to the rest of the organs and Harvey was trying to tell the people that blood goes in a circle so that the blood would eventually end up back in the heart. In 1628 Harvey came out with his first book explaining that Galen's theory is wrong, but the people did not believe him and started to laugh at him when he would pass people. Harvey still went on with teaching his theory to his students and once he died, everyone started to love him and other doters started to believe his theory.
  • Johannes Kepler
  • I wounder what this planet does?
  • When Isaac Newton was a boy, he sketched many things we use today. Unfortunately, Newton did not do the best at his school work. He was very interested in physics, mathematics, and astronomy. One day when Isaac was sitting under a tree an apple fell from the tree and wondered, why do apples fall down instead of up? With this he started to study gravity and how it works. Eventually, Isaac discovered things and made even more inventions that we still use to this day and without Isaac Newton's fascination of gravity, we may not know and have everything that we use and know today.
  • Major Inventions
  • I wounder if I could come up with something that could tell how hot or cold something is?
  • Francis Bacon was an English Philosopher. Francis wrote essays and he had a total of 58 editions. His first edition came out in 1597. Other than writing essays, he had an advancement of learning and a new Atlantis. Bacon was influenced by Montaigne who was one of the greatest English philosophers of the French Renaissance. The more and more Bacon wrote essays, he started to find different styles in his writing. Bacon was most influential on the history of the English prose. Bacon was influential to Europe because he fixed the form of chief kind of prose writing.
  • Johannes Kepler began by earning a scholar ship and attending a nice collage. At the collage, Kepler was introduce to the ideas of the Competition theory and from there; on he studied the Competition theory. Kepler was also interested in astronomy. Once Kepler finished his studies, he was known as a professor in astronomy. With this, he studied the planets and there movement. After, he met two astronomers named Galileo and Tycho. After Tycho died, Kepler finished the Luna tables and inherited Tycho's post when becoming a mathematician. Kepler then studied the planets more and more. Eventually, Kepler found more and more things about the solar system. With this we were able to extend his knowledge and find out more things about the solar system.
  • Some major inventions are the microscope, the barometer, and the thermometer. The microscope is great because now doctors and scientist could look at smaller objects. The barometer is important because now we can still tell the changes in the atmosphere. The thermometer is important because now we can still tell the temperature in Fahrenheit degrees.
