  • chapter 3: I The library is real.....
  • The books are real. They have real pages and everything.
  • Chapter 3: old sport
  • Do you want to go flying in my hydroplane some time, old sport
  • I had been the only one invited. The party was wild, with jazz music, women dancing, and everyone getting drunk.
  • Chapter 4: Who is Gatsby????
  • A middle aged man, with enormous owl eyed spectacles, was sitting somewhat drunk on the edge of a great table, staring with unsteady concentration at the shelves of books. page 45
  • Daisy's story
  • Your face is familiar. Weren't you in the third division during the war? After some time talking, Gatsby asked if I wanted to go fly in his hydroplane.
  • Jordan and Nick a couple
