Odysseus' men landed on Circe's island, hungry and dejected.
Odysseus speared a stag.
"Some god took pity on my loneliness: across my path he sent a tall horned stag." (Pg. 196)
The men split up into two groups.
"Eurylochus rushed back to tell us of our comrade's shameful fate." (Pg. 198)
"They left with 2 and 20 men." (pg. 197)
The men found Circe's house! So many animals... Weird...
"Wolves she'd bewitched with some evil spell." (Pg. 197)
As Eurylochus watched, Circe turned his friends into pigs!
"She'll turn us to Wolves or Hogs!" (Pg. 204)
Eurylochus went back to Odysseus and the other men and told them what the witch-goddess Circe had done.
