Babies prefer humans to inanimate objects, so they become more sociable and are able to tell people apart. Do not have strong preference to a specific person
2 changes occur around 7 months ago: babies show separation and stranger anxiety. Form specific attachment to the person that is most sensitive to baby's signals.
