By emelily, Updated
THis is just a story about the creation, Navajo myth
In the beginning there was only darkness, but also excepting six beings (First man, First woman, Salt Woman, Fire God, Coyote and Begochiddy- child of the son)
Begochiddy made 4 mountains: One in the North, South, East and West, but there was no light still..
So, he gathered all his creation, planted a reed and it grew! The reed grew out from the first world to the second.
Begochiddy's reed grew into a world that was blue, but had animals living on it.. Cat people. They always used to fight (cat people) so Begochiddy thought this wasn't great. He again hopped into his reed and ventured to the next world
Begochiddy thought this world world was perfect. The people there had many children. One day, he found the child of the water monster. He took the baby and the water monster got angry. He sent waters on the land
Begochiddy was forced to give back the baby, but he was too late. The water monster flooded the world. So Begochiddy hopped into his reed and the waters rose him to the next world.
