Mohenjo-Daro lived in a civilization about 5000 years ago. He lived by a river called the Indus river. The civilization was in the modern day countries of Pakistan and India.
The civilization had many trades going on. So they used things called seals which was a piece of clay that they had basically a stamp that they pressed into it to confirm the trade.
So when I say they traded they did not trade things with money. They traded things with other items. Basically they could bring an item and if they liked one another's items they traded.
When this civilization traded they did not trade in the city they traded outside of the city. One reason could be they did not want someone to steal there item.
Well we should probably start off with thier homes. There homes were made out of bricks and had no windows. Part of the reason they had no windows was to keep it cooler in the house. Notice how the top of the houses are flat that is because they used their rooves to cook and sleep on.
Okay so you are probably wondering how they washed themselves. Well they actually had showers. Their showers were family members dumping water on them. I know not much privacy really.
