  • ¨An' whatta I got, I got you! You can keep a job and you lose me ever´ job I get...¨

  • CHAPTER 2
  • He can talk if he wants  to tell you anything.
  • An'[ you won't let the big guy talk, is that it?
  • CHAPTER 3
  • Funny, I used to have a hell of a  lot of fun with him...
  • In chapter 1, George gets frustrated with Lennie. He complains about how much better his life would be without Lennie. He confronts him about what happens in Weed, how Lennie grabbed a women's dress and did not let go. The woman yells and they had to go run and hide in a ditch. Men were looking or them all day and they had to sneak out in the dark and get out of the country.
  • CHAPTER 4
  • Sometimes he talks, and you don't know what the hell he's talking about, ain't that right?"
  • In this scene, Curley comes into the bunkhouse looking for his old man. He comes across the big guy. Curley likes little guys. He hates big guys. When Lennie wouldn't say anything to Curley, he started to get ticked off and be rude to him, George spoke for Lennie saying he will speak if he wants to.
  • CHAPTER 5
  • I ain't gonna let 'em hurt Lennie.
  • In this scene, George tells Slim about his past with Lennie. He would always have fun with him and play jokes around him because he was too dumb. He was too dumb to even know that he had a joke played on him. He'd always beat Lennie. Even though Lennie could bust every bone in George's body, he done nothing.
  • CHAPTER 6
  • An' I got you
  • In this scene, Crooks tries to monopolize Lennie by saying that George will leave him. He takes advantage of Lennie's dumbness and messes around with him. But Lennie knows that George won't leave him. Crooks goes on. He says s'pose George went into town tonight and you never heard of him no more.
  • He won't do it
  • In this scene, Lennie has killed Curley's wife. When Candy comes in, he sees that she is dead. He calls George over to have a look at her. George knows that it was Lennie who did it. But he knows that Lennie didn't mean to kill her.
  • In this scene,  George find Lennie. He takes the will power to do what's best for Lennie. The other men were saying to shoot him in the guts. Instead of making him suffer, he shot him right in the head.
