  • Madam, I will.
  • Ay, madam, but returns again tonight.
  • Lady Macbeth`s soliloquy; preparing herself to tell Macbeth the plan.
  • Nought`s had, all`s spent. Where our desire is got without content. Tis safer to be that which we destroy. Than by destruction dwell in doubtful joy.
  • How now, my lord, why do you keep alone, of sorriest francies your companions making.
  • We have scorched the snake, not killed it. She`ll close, and be herself, whilst our poor malice remains in danger of her former tooth.
  • Lady Macbeth is trying her best to convince Macbeth that this act will lead them to the throne.
  • Come on. Gentle my lord.
  • And so I pray be you. Let your remembrance apply Banquo, present him eminence both with eye and tongue
  • Macbeth is hesitating and doesn't believe that it is right for him to commit with this murder.
  • You must leave this.
  • O, full of scorpions is my mind, dear wife!
  • Be innocent of the knowledge, dearest chuck.   Things bad begun, make strong themselves by ill.
  • Lady Macbeth is asking Macbeth if he has any other ideas of what could be done to gain power.
  • What`s to be done?
