  • Exposition
  • These shoes smell gross... I'll get them home to dad.
  • Rising Action
  • At camp, you will dig one hole everyday, then you will get the rest of the day off
  • Rising Action
  • The main Characters in the story are Stanley, his mom, his dad , Zero (Hector Zeroni), and the Warden. Most of the story takes place in Camp Green Lake, but starts off in a small town. Stanley gets caught with a pair of autographed sneakers that fell on his head.
  • Climax
  • Stanley goes to court and can choose between jail or Camp Green Lake. Stanley is sent to Camp Green Lake, for 18 months, where everyday you have to dig a five foot deep hole and five feet in every direction in the hot desert. Stanley thinks that the Warden is looking for something, but doesn't know what.
  • Falling Action
  • Stanley and Zero run away from camp and climb a mountain. Zero gets sick because he ate very old peaches he found in an old boat. On the top of the mountain, there is plenty of water and fresh onions to survive. They plan to go back to camp to try and find the treasure they think the Warden is looking for.
  • Resolution
  • Stanley and Zero return to camp and the hole where he found a golden tube. Inside, there was a suitcase with Stanley´s name on it. The boys get caught by the counselors and are swarmed with lethal yellow spotted lizards.
  • Stanley´s lawyer comes to get him and ends up also taking home Zero because they could not say why he was there. The boys sell the contents of the case and are each left with a little less than 1,000,000 dollars.
  • Camp Green Lake is sold and will become a Girl Scout Camp. Stanley buys his family a house and Zero finds his mother with the help of private investigators. Stanley´s dad also perfects the cure for foot odor.
