  • I was one of the colonist in the Stamp act. A lot of us colonist got angry and boycotted for getting taxed by paper. Paper used to be free of no tax, but now it is!
  • I too was a colonist back then! The way the stamp act worked was that the government would send you paper such as in magazines, newspapers, and letters and it would be taxed. And then Colonist had to pay the tax with a stamp.
  • See, because we the colonist got angry and boycotted about the tax, the government sent British soldiers to "keep the peace." Now the colonist got really angry.
  • I am a colonist of 1770, I was a colonist in the Boston Massacre. The colonist (like me) got mad because the government was sending British soldiers to our country.
  • I'm a British soldier. Because the colonist made fun of us , we went into war. But we were told not to fire unless told to do so. We didn't fire until private Montgomery's gun went off by someone throwing something from the crowd.
  • when the British heard the shot fire they started firing in our crowd . Two colonist died immediately and three died later.
