Storyboard Text

  • Ala al-Din. My nephew!! I have bought you a shop and new clothes. Will you come on a walk with me in the garden to meet all of the new rich people you will be friends with.
  • The black dwarf walked up to Ala al-Din's house and offered him a store and new clothes. Then he offered to take him on a walk in the gardens.
  • Thank you uncle I have never met! Mama, can I please go?
  • Of course you can. I mean, he is your uncle...?
  • After Ala al-Din gets the lamp he gets stuck because his pockets are to full of gold. He won't give his 'uncle' the lamp because he wants to get out first. So, Ala a-Din's uncle left him there.
  • Now that you have lit the fire for me and the ground has opened up you must go deeper into the tunnel and fetch me the lamp at the end of all the obstacles.
  • I can't do it because you, Ala a-Din, needs to do it.You are being ungrateful. I have done so much already for you go do it.
  • Why can't you do it?
  • After Ala al-Din was saved by an ifrit when he rubbed the magic ring the black dwarf gave him, he saw the princess for the first time. He thought she was the most beautiful person ever and that he had to marry her,
  • Wow! She is so beautiful! I must marry her!
  • After Ala al-Din and the princess were finally married the black dwarf came back and stole the lamp. Then he stole the princess and the palace. Ala al-Din set off to look for his wife and his palace after he found out they were gone.
  • Oh no! My beloved wife and palace! What happened to them? I must go search for them!!
  • Ala al-Din rubs the ring and wishes to be at his palace with his wife and a bottle of sleeping potion. Once he is there he tells his wife to pretend that she wants to marry him. Then the queen makes the dwarf a drink and Ala al-Din puts the sleeping potion in it. After the black dwarf is asleep, Ala al-Din uses the magic lamp which is stringer than the ring to bring the palace and his wife (plus him) back home.
  • Oh my dear wife, I found you! Now here is the plan: we will put this sleeping potion in the drink you make your "husband to be" the black dwarf.
  • Once Ala al-Din and his wife returned with their palace the King decided to host a huge celebration. When the dwarf found them, the punishment that Ala al-Din gave him was that he was to never have the lamp or the ring to help him again.
  • Finally my beautiful daughter, my son in-law, and their palace have returned! Thank you Ala al-Din for saving my daughter! Now we should have a celebration.
