Melissa was shocked to see that her friends were making up stories about her online. The worst part was that everyone was seeing this and making their own rude and mean comments. There was no way for her to make it stop!
The thought of going to school was very upsetting to Melissa. She felt eveyones eyes on her. She could hear the whispers and laughter of the other kids talking about her. She didn't know what to do and wanted to cry. She felt so alone.
Walking into each class was getting harder and harder for Melissa throughout her day. People that she thought were her friends were laughing. There was no way for her to stop people from seeing the video that her so call friends posted of her.
STOP CYBER BULLYING
Even though Melissa was embarrassed, she knew she needed to talk to her parents and tell them what was going on. She couldn't be Cyber Bullied any longer and needed help.
After talking to her parents and school officials, Melissa learned that she wasn't alone. In fact, 15% of students have reportedly been Cyber Bullied at one time or another. By reporting this to officials, the girls were reprimanded and hopefully learned their lesson that Cyber Bullying is NOT okay.
Stop Cyber Bullying. Three things to always remember: (1) you are not alone, (2) always report it as soon as possible, (3) never Cyber Bully anyone because you too will have to face your own consequences.
