  • Climax
  • There once was a king who's daughter fell in love with a handsome commoner. The king did not like this so he gave the boy a chance to chose between two doors. Behind one door was a dangerous tiger and behind the other was a beautiful maiden.
  • Falling action
  • The king sent for the most fierce beast in the forest to be caught. He would put beast behind one of the doors. He also sent for a fair maiden to be brought to him. This maiden would be placed behind the second door. The daughter of the kings discovers what fate is behind both doors. 
  • Resolution 
  • The day arrives when the boy is to chose what door to pick. He goes to the king and the princess. The princess motions to the right to show the boy which door to pick.
  • Theme
  • The boy is now to choose which door to pick. The princess gestured to the right,, but it is for him to choose which door.
  • the author leave the end up to the individual readers. In this case I am creating my own. The up opens up one door that contains the tiger, but to his surprise the tiger is already dead. The princess snuck into the room and killed the tiger but she herself was mortally wounded.
  • The theme of this short story is to show our choices. It is to not only choose, but also show the consequences of our choices as well. The boy was to choose a door. If he were to have picked the door of the fair maiden he would be allowed to live, but the fair maiden would become his bride. If he were to choose the door with the tiger he would have been killed.
