This is called evaporation
Squeals of joy and fear surround me as we are lifted from our home , Old Mrs. Jones Bird bath outside her writing room where she writes all of her novels. She fell asleep while writing her Chapter book about the water cycle. Every second I see her she is writing her hands off. Her dog Bo scares off all the birds so we don’t have to worry about them.
As soon as we reached the cloud I met up with my best bud Reda from the birdbath. “ Hi Denise!” she says as she calls me over.” Hey Reda, want to join?” I call back. We have done this many times so we join together swiftly in one motion. Reda and I have landed many places before the birdbath. Like the pool, a river, and many lakes and ponds. So we brace ourselves for the fall. This is the most terrifying part of it all.
Condensation and precipitation
We smack into a mountain. Sliding down the side Reda and I split up but hold each other's hand so we don't get too far away from each other running off.
Reda’s hands slip away from mine as we crash into a hydrangea. She and I slam into the petals but before I can stop myself I slide off of the other side into the ground.
Reda will go through trasperation. This Is the end of my journey I tell myself. Groundwater.
