  • The Native's Story
  • We are the Mississippians, the very last of the Native American group and the first people to encounter the Europeans !
  • Those Europeans, with their nasty diseases and advanced weaponry! They would soon kill us all!
  • Europeans Exploring?
  • My name is Hernando De Soto and although I did not get any gold from my expedition, I did find parts of the country Georgia.
  • English Colonization!
  • Take this product that you made and sell it only to Germany!
  • Oh by the way we will also sell you more than we buy from you, ok bye!
  • The Mississippians come from a long line of Indians who have advanced their shelter, weaponry, and their overall way of living. Some of advancements include using farming tools (which resulted in no longer being nomadic), forming towns governed by chiefs, and conducting religious ceremonies. Another change would be their use of palisades or guard walls/ towers. The Mississippians became extinct from the accidental/ sort of intentional run in with the Europeans.
  • The three reasons for exploration were God, Gold and Glory, mainy gold. The interaction between the Natives and Europeans was far from friendly. The Europenans caused havic by bringing in diseases like smallpox and winning wars from their advanced weapons and protection . The Natives also thought that the Europeans were Gods, both a man and a horse combined. This caused great intimidation and physcological fear factor.
  • England began to settle along the Atlantic Coastline of of the United States. Mercantilism played and important role in the success of this colony. Mercantilism is exporting more than you import so that you earn more money than you spend. Georgia became a buffer colony to protect England's riches and land from Spain and France..
