Hey Mom, I've been looking for a job recently and I would like to speak to someone who for a local company, Do you know anyone like that?
Actually, a friend of mine has been looking to hire a new marketing manager at the sales company she works at. I'll talk to her about you.
It's been a couple of days since I asked mom... I think I should continue to ask her until she gets me the job.
A help wanted sign, perhaps I can be interviewed for a job here. I do have a resume with me and I am dressed properly, which are positive qualities to show during an interview.
Oh there's a post on Monster.com for a publishing job just outside of NC. I'ts kind of far but I might apply anyways.
With the help of networking, printed resources, and the internet I was able to find a variety of jobs and decide which I wanted to do. What was most helpful for me was the help wanted sign, or the printed resource, which allowed me to actively search near me and then apply for the job that I had found. The negative of networking was that it took longer time to even connect with my employer and the internet resource found jobs all over the country that did not suit my needs
