  • Ugh! I am not exited for seventh period.
  • That's a great idea maybe I will try that.
  • I might have one you can borrow. I thought I hade a bunch of frindles yesterday. Grrr...... Finally I found it here you go Nick.
  • Does anybody have an extra frindle that I can borrow??
  • Will life ever be the same again??
  • Today is Nick Allen's first day of Fifth grade. He is not excited to be in Mrs. Granger´s class in seventh period for language arts.
  • Ok Bud that is fine with me. Have a good day. Bye
  • Mr. Allen I need your permission to use the word frindle on items to sell. I will give Nick thirty percent of the profits I make off frindle items.
  • Nick asks Mrs. Granger about her dictionaries and Nick ends up with a big homework assignment. Nick is curious why he can not just make up a word. Then NIck gets a idea.
  • What a great teacher. She was on my side the whole time!!!!

  • Nick's idea is the word frindle. He wants everyone to say it. He and his friend John made a big dramitic performance that would help the word spread. He and John did this in seventh period language arts. Nick word has also caused problems. Mrs Granger put up a note saying if you say frindle you have to stay after school. Mrs. Granger did not like Nick's new word.
  • Everything in Nick's town was crazy. Parents kept calling the school about why their kids are always staying after school. A businessman named Bud Lawrence made a deal with Nick's dad. Nick would get so much money because Bud was selling frindle items.
  • Life in Nick's town did settle back to normal. 10 years later Nick was in college. He was rich from the frindle items. One day he received a package in the mail. It was from Mrs. Granger. In the box was a dictionary with a note that said turn to page 541. There was Nick's word frindle. There was also Mrs. Granger's fountain pen from fifth grade. There was a note that said she had been on Nick's side the whole time.
  • One day Mrs. Granger received a package in the mail. It was from Nick. In their was a permanent trust fun for college scholarships that had been established with one million dollars. There was also a note in the box that said I want you to have this, a student of yours. In the box their was a golden fountain pen.
