  • Shot: Long Shot, Full Body Transition: Fade In and Fade Out Camera Direction: Varies from High Angle- Low Angle (Power Relationship) Music/Sound Effects: Nature/Quiet
  • Shot: Close Up Transition: Fade In/ Fade Out Camera Direction: High Angle Dialogue: Tituba
  • Reverend Parris notices his daughter, Betty, and Abigail Williams acting strangely and very secretively. He becomes concerned and suspects that they are up to no good. Mood/Emotion: Suspense
  • Reverend Parris decides to interrogate Tituba about this noticeably strange behavior. Tituba lies that she is not involved, but due to the strong power relationship, she eventually gives in. Mood/Emotion: Uncertainty
  • Tituba admits that a group of girls have begged her to come to the woods, early the next morning. The main reason to why she gives in is because Reverend Parris has a lot of power over her, Mood: The audience will feel sympathy for Tituba.
  • Reverrend Parris walks away from Tituba.
  • Shot: Angle of Destiny Transition: Pan (The audience can get a view of the characters and the setting) Camera Direction: Dissolve Out to a Black Out (This is the last event that occurs in that day)
  • In the next early morning, Reverend Parris awakens to the sounds of the girls whispering and hurrying out of the house.
  • Shot: Medium Shot Setting: Parris' Bedroom Camera Direction: Music: Instrumental which starts very quietly, but builds up as Parris gets closer to the forest.
  • Reverend Parris follows the girls into the woods.
