A Christmas Carol Storyboard

Storyboard Text

  • Marley comes to Ebenezer Scrooge's house and warns him about what his future will look like if he continues to act the way he does. Marley tells Scrooge that 3 spirits will visit him at 1, 2, and 3 in the morning, and if he doesn't learn from anything that the ghosts have showed him, he will end up looking like Marley when he dies, and will have to drag chains around like Marley does himself.
  • Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by the ghost of christmas past, and the spirit takes him back to re-live his childhood and more. Ebenezer is heartbroken at the scene and immediately asks to leave, but the ghost takes him more places later on in his life as a teenager. Ebenezer forces the spirit to make it stop, and so he does.
  • The following hour, the ghost of christmas present visits Scrooge. The spirit takes him to see his employee Mr.Cratchit and his wife. Mrs.Cratchit starts to talk about Scrooge and why he is such a bad person, but Mr.Cratchit backs Scrooge up by saying why he is thankful for giving him a job, and paying him so that Mr,Cratchit can provide for his family.
  • The final spirit, the ghost of Christmas yet to come visits Scrooge. The spirit shows Scrooge a dead man and how people have reacted to his death. Scrooge is later taken to that mans grave, and finds that it is his own. Scrooge begs the ghost that this isn't really how things will end up for him. Then, the spirit leaves Scrooge and he is soon back to his own bed.
  • Once Scrooge is awake the next morning, he is very gleeful because he knows that he can now change his future for his own good. He sends a boy to buy the prize turkey and have the turkey sent to Bob Cratchet. Later, Bob arrives in late for work, but Scrooge doesn't mind and gives the man a raise. He also promises Bob that he will do anything to help Tim. Later he visits his nephew and sets things right with him. Scrooge later enjoys the Christmas party at his nephews house.
  • As Scrooges life goes on, I think that people will grow to like him a lot more than they used to. I don't think that Scrooge will make a family of his own, but I think that he will become a lot closer with the Cratchets and his nephew Fred and his family. I think that Scrooge will have a more successful business now that he has learned to be nicer to people, and more careful with his choice of actions and words. Scrooge will not die soon, but he will be happy for the rest of his life.
