The Rabbit was a bully who shall learn his lesson.
There once was a rabbit who worked on a farm. He was in charge of the trees on it, and everyday he had to water them, and pick the apples that were ripe from the trees.
One day he came to work to see all the trees had at least 40 apples to havest each, and he only felt like picking 10 apples at the most. He decided to procrastinate, and water the trees before harvesting them.
While the rabbit was over his way to the shore, he saw an exausted looking turtle laying in the water. "Are you alright?" He asked in his British accent, faking his concern. "Yes, just hungry," she replied, sighing. "Oh, I would help you, but I still have to do my job." He said, motioning toward the trees.
Hope you had a good day at the farm, goodbye!
The turtle offered up the pig a deal, "What if I picked your apples for you, and in return I get to eat one everyday?" The pig, liking the sound of not doing any work, agreed with a firm shake of his head. So the days went on, and everyday the turtle would pick all the apples, yet only take one for herself.
One day, when the rabbit was leaving the farm, after the turtle just did his job, he saw the bird still picking his weeds from the garden, "Ha," he laughed at him, "You are so slow, still having work to do. Why, I wonder why farmer even hired you." This upset the bird, and later he quit thinking he was an unworthy employee. When the turtle heard about the rabbit and his actions, she was furious.
She came early the next day, and ate all his apples, leaving him none left. When the rabbit found out he was angry, but also ashamed of his behavior, he had been taking credit for something he did not do. He learned his lesson, having to pay for the apples and losing his job.
