When Isabella and her family plan a trip to the Canadian Shield, things don't go as expected.
Day faded into night eventually and so I had found a few sticks and started a fire. Good thing I'd read The Hunger Games, because if I didn't I wouldn't have ended up sleeping in a tree to protect myself.
Sadly, my night wasn't over just yet. I heard a growl coming from the woods below. "Oh no." I thought. I sat up and stayed silent. Whatever it was didn't find me.
The following day may have been even more eventful than the last. I continued my journey throughout the forest when I heard a noise. When I looked in the direction of the noise, a pleasant surprise came up behind me: a yeti. I panicked, so I decided to run around it in circles to try to confuse it and run off to a random direction.
On the other hand, though, I barely escaped. The second I ran, it tried to catch me by grabbing my leg with it's claw, so I ran faster and didn't see when I ran right into a cliff. . . And fell right in the gaping hole. My leg was bleeding like crazy and so I crawled into a nearby cave and got out my first-aid kit. I bandaged up my wound and tried to continue desperately.
Finally, a small airplane flew by. I got on top of a tree and called out for help, jumping up and down. They saw me and picked me up!
