  • John's Life
  • When the crowd came to John  he constantly told them," I'm nothing... the coming Messiah is everything".
  • The Ministry begins
  • "Repent, for  the kingdom of heaven has come near".
  • The ministry   goes on
  • John was a fascinating man.  He ate locusts and honey. He wore camel's hair and a belt made of leather. Son of Zachariah and Elizabeth, who preached  God's word.
  • John's Mistake
  • I command to arrest him!
  • John began to preach ing in the Judean Widerness telling them to repent.
  • The party
  • I want John's head in a tray.
  • soon Jerusalem and all Judea  and all district  around the  Jordan were going out to him, and they were being baptized by him.
  • The Death of John
  • Now King Herod, heard of John the baptist. He had married his brother's sister, Herodias who commanded to arrest him. Though John told him that it was against God's law  to marry her,  King Herod wanted to kill him, but couldn't because he was afraid  of a riot.
  • Sir.  there is  this man called  John  the baptist , who talks about Jesus.
  • By that time, Herod had a party. Herodia's  daughter danced at the party which was really pleasing to Herod, so made vow to her, to give her anything she wanted. she wanted John's head in a tray.  Herod regretted his vow, but he  couldn't  do anything since all his guests were there, so he demanded John's head.
  • Your dance has pleased me a lot, so I will give you whatever you want.
  • John was beheaded in prison and his head was brought ina tray  and given to the girl., who took it to her mother.  Later, John's disciples came for his body and buried it.  Then they went and told Jesus  about it.
