  • RIP: Britain's Control over the 'states'

  • Oh no! We need to write another draft
  • Ughhhh, hopefully we can publish it soon. It has only taken us five drafts
  • The Constitutional Convention
  • Articles of Confederation
  • The Declaration of independence was written in 1776 and announced our independence as Americans from Britain. While being written, freedom and equality was being fought for and enforced. This document also established regulations for states and the future rules of a nation.
  • The Articles of Confederation was the first Constitution of the United States during this time period. It included many laws regarding the land and favored a strong Union alog with strond central governments.
  • This Convention was held in Philadelphia where each elected delegate served as a representative there in 1787. At this meeting, the representatives would organize themselves into a circle and discuss the improvements that needed to be made on the A.O.C.
