The following week was the week of school wide debates. Teams would be arguing for and against the creation of more missions to the Moon.
Proposition VS Opposition Funds for Moon Exploration?
I made sure to support each of my points with facts and plenty of evidence. I knew living on the Moon for 13 years would pay off!
Once, again I gave a speech and was honored to be the winner of this debate!
I had to tell the class about myself during homeroom. Thankfully, I had memorized countless numbers of poems to help with my English.
I’m from the Moon! Oh wait, I mean Mexico, sorry. I’m from Mexico! I’m glad I get to start a new life here in Tennessee.
I was able to be a part of the school’s science fair, where everyone that entered would be able to donate to a charity of their choice. I had a lot of practice with philanthropy on the Moon.

The next day, I found out that I had won first place for my Moon project! I wrote and memorized a huge acceptance speech and performed it like I was doing a TED Talk. It had been a great first week of school on Earth!
